The underlying factor in the Australian Cricket team ball tampering scandal is the abandonment of the core values that our national team stands for. John Wiley, chairman of the Australian Sports Commission says, “These sorts of events typically don’t happen in isolation in any organisation. They are a product of cultural problems that exist, and there have been cultural problems in the Australian team for some time.”
